Amidst the backdrop of clear blue skies on a sunny day, May 23, the staff of Oasis, Super Plus gathered, ready for the day’s activity. Manager Gavin Smith and Asst. Manager, Karlene Lewis lead their team along March Pen Road, across the Highway and into the community of March Pen - Project – “Operation Clean Up’.

Our tools in hand, each member of the congregation looked on in awe at the building to be painted inside and out. Without hesitation each member knew what they were about and began to paint, remove debris and chopped grass. It was togetherness all the way.

With most of the painting achieved some of us, even though weary and sunburned, decided that all work and no play will make us dull. A flirtatious game of ‘dandy-shandy was engaged which was thoroughly enjoyed by all, with each participant showing skills of high jump, banana splits and some ‘dutty wine’.

|
A sense of achievement was felt, knowing that we have helped to bring some sunshine in the lives of little ones as they return to a cleaner, brighter place of learning on Monday.

Head of the school, Ms. Skinners along with her staff showed gratitude and thanked us for a job well done.
