Labour Day Project - Spanish Town
Our Labour Day Project was a successful one. We chose the Spanish Town Primary School to carry out our "labouring activities."
The decision came about after carefully looking around for the community location that needed the most repairs.
Our Asst. Manager Miss Romayne Peart approached the Principal of the school Miss Inez Wilson and expressed our desire to carry out our "labouring activities" at the school.
The entire school faculty graciously accepted the request.
Our activities mainly surrounded painting the classrooms and with that came all the necessary preparation involved. We swept the areas and scraped the walls where necessary and carefully painted the classrooms. Our expert painter was on site, our very own Mr. Edward "Groundsman" Walters who skillfully directed the art of painting to the other team members. Pretty soon we all starting acting like experts using painting terminology," this wall needs cutting, and you need to add more thinner".
Our day begun at 8:00 am and ended at 1:00pm. We completed an enormous portion of the project. Mr. Pitter, Mr. Wright and Miss Peart were the Managers present for duty that day and they did work.
The day once more was a successful one and both the Faculty and the Super Plus Staff were pleased with the outcome.
